09 - simplicity

After a stressful week of mortgage / house-buying fun - I've looked for simplicity...and didn't find it. So I made it as a typeface instead. Even this works out to be more complicated than I wanted to.

To cut a long story short - this is one of many weights I've made from a simple, elegant modern typeface - but the font program I am using decides to convert everything I import into "shapes" - and this is based on a line - and changing the weight of the line changes the weight of the typeface...anyway - I am working on the family - but decided to upload the fattest of fat bolds I've made - I hope you like it and enjoy its clean lines and no-nonsense approach to saying something...much like I wish I could sometimes...(after reading all this - I think you'll agree!)

This typeface is now unavailable for download - but will be included in the limited edition CD Rom of all 52 Typefaces at the beginning of 2010.
